Wet car mats - where is the water coming from?!?!? I have this problem in 2 different cars - a Ford KA and a Peugout 206. In the KA (2004), the drivers floor mat gets soaked after heavy rain. No windows are left open, there is no moisture on the dash or the seats, nor on the door anywhere. But the mat gets soaked. I've layed paper over it to see if it's dripping from under the steering column somewhere, but the paper is dry, and I can't feel any wetness under there. The windscreen fluid is definatly not leaking, or i'd have to refill it every few days, which I don't have to... There is no hole beneath the car for the water to get in through either. The seals on the windows seem fine and there's water in no other place... Onto the Peugout (1996). The same thing happens to the rear passenger mat. Nowhere else in the car is wet apart from here. It's been in the garage and they suggested the seal on the boot was dodgy, but it's not; if it was then the shelf and seat would be wet. Anyone have any idea where this water's coming from? I noticed also in the KA that the windscreen gets wet inside in the mornings, so the seal there is looking like the suspect. What sort of cost will there be in fixing this? (the ford doesn't have AC, the Pug does)
What should I use to clean the inside of my car? Hey, I was wondering, my car has regular seats, not leather or anything, it's a Hyundai Getz, but I was wondering, what should I use to clean the inside of my car, like scrub the whole seats, and all the boot and everything, so it's like brand new and all =) Are there any specific products, or should I just use like a bottle of shampoo or something? =S Thanks By the way, this includes every part of the car inside, floors, mats, boot, seats, dash, all of the above =)
Settle a disagreement: what color mats would you choose? The car is a Corvette. The exterior paint, the bucket seats, and all the carpet are red. The interior headliner, the whole dash, and the trim (exterior and interior) are black. What would look better on floor mats for this car: black mats with red/silver Corvette emblem or red mats with black/silver Corvette emblem? Thanks!
mounting/reflecting leds in my car? under dash, back seat, trunk? I'm wondering what color floor mats would reflect the led lights best? would clear floor mats do a good job? my interior carpet is dark blue. I don't want to buy diamond plated floor mats because I looked them up and they costed about 110 for my car. so what I was thinken of doing is getting clear floor mats and then underneath them putting aluminum foil and haven that to reflect it, but I don't know if thats a good idea or what. any advice?
Where can i find car accesory kits? I would like to know where i can find car accesory kits that have front and rear floor mats, steering wheel cover, 2 seat covers and maybe some things to just put on the dash and mirror...Please make sure it's not to expensive! Thanks to all!

Blue 2001 VW Beetle Car Interior? Hey Guys/Girls I have a 2001 Blue VW Beetle. It has a cream interior and I would like to put some seat covers, floor mats and a dash mat in. I was wanting to know what colour you think I should make the mats and seat covers Blue or Pink? I think the pink will make it stand out and look really good because it's blue on the outside and pink on the inside, but then again it could look bad if it gets over done. I think the blue would look alright but might blend in abit too much. Im not sure what to do. Please help me Thanks

Car sound system installation costs? I have a 1983 Jaguar XJ6 and I bought many accessories for the sound system and I want to go to a car audio place so they can connect everything. I have 4 subwoofers, 1 amp, 4 speakers, headrest tvs, sunvisor tvs, and in dash tv, underbody neon lights, trunk hush mat kit, how much would it cost (approximately)? And about how long should it take to get it all done?
My 2003 honda civic leaks under the dash when it rains. Any guesses?? Both the driver side & passenger side floor mats become wet when it rains or when I wash the car. It drips near the fire wall but I don't see any holes that would allow water to penetrate. It's water and not coolant and the heater core is fine. I don't have A/C or a sun roof and the windshield isn't leaking. I'm stumped.
Will a two step compoud harm my car paint? It's a part of the auto detailing that I'm getting, and I'm a bit concerned because I know nothing about these kind of things. I have black water stains on my car, so it might be necessary. They're also going to polish and wax it. The description: Two step compound, polish and handwax. Thorough cleaning of your entire automobile. All carpets and mats shampooed. Leather or vinyl cleaned. Dash dressed, seats and door panels cleaned, trunk vacuumed, door jams cleaned, wheels cleaned and brake dust removed. High gloss dressing applied to tires, UV Leather and Vinyl Protectant applied.
I had Huge Beetle-like Poisonous Ant Larvea investing my car in a dream. What does that mean? First I was in a store, discussing plans with my husband about meeting him later. He couldn't come because he had to work, so I left the store to go. When I got to my car the passenger side floor mat was almost up to the dash. When I looked underneath, there was all this larvae of huge poisonous ants. They were just squirming around. So I jumped out of the car and went back into the store to get bug spray. On the way up the elevator emergency phone rang. I was having trouble answering it, because I didn't know how to use the buttons. Finally a voice came over the phone and said he was just running a test, and they always did it this way. When I finally got the bug spray, I sprayed the ants... but it wasn't enough. There were some hiding under the seat that I missed, so I had to go back into the store. On my way back in a friend introduced me to some psychic who was supposed to be reading my energy, but then she forgot what she was doing, and walked off... and I woke up. Interesting insight j153e. My husband died suddenly in late 2006. And I've not yet been able to find my way to earning money on my own again. I'm living off of the insurance money still and am pretty pissed off that I'm having to deal with this situation as it is.

Accessories for my 1996 Hyundai Lantra GLS? I'm looking to get a dash mat, a bonnet protector, headlamp stone guards and some floor mats I bought my car second hand and some of these things I've found in my research about this model Lantra some of those things are supposed to be standard, but my car doesn't have them. Besides ebay and a Hyundai dealer is there anywhere in Australia that I can get them? I'm in Southern NSW, if anybody knows anywhere around here I can buy those things thankyou in advance! (by the way, after doing some digging I found out that the SS fitted to my car means that it has a security system fitted which is what the SS stands for)
Dodge 1998 car floods heavily during rain? I know other people have this problem two. I have not been able to identify why it floods because there is not sign of an leaking water from roof or top or dash board or seats. Everything is completely dry except the floor mats which are flooded in water. It happens in light rain as well and is heavy in heavy rain. Do someone know why this car floods, and can anything be done about it? I All the four sides are flooded not just the front. I mean both the front mats and the rear mats are flooded. I am of the opinion that the water comes from the bottom somehow since everything else is dry. But i dont see from where. I know many ppl have the same problem with dogde neons.
How much for my car if i tried to sell? Dodge Avenger (ES model) 2000 v6 2.5L (the bad) 97k miles i think i'm the 2nd or 3rd owner of this car lots of body scratches on the front of the car especially down towards the front lip headlights fog up from the outside whenever it has rained underside of car is very rusted, parts of exhaust might need replaced due to holes/leaks, very rusted on mid-section of exhaust missing cover to cruise control but still works, still has a light up switch you can press some residue from removing window tint (from a previous owner) but i removed as much as i could trunk has major indentation where the sub woofer sits above the spare tire tiny drops of superglue on inside of the door panels where i was re-sealing the panels together because they were squeaking very badly before (it's been over a year of no squeaks now). rather loud exhaust could be due to the hole/holes forming (no rattling) door speaker panels have holes cut out in them where i've attached the aftermarket speaker covers to (it does look good, i made sure to take my time and use a dremel tool) (the good) drives really well gets anywhere from 22-29 mpg depending on how my driving style is (on average around 24-25 mpg) mostly highway miles (about 75% of the miles i've put on) i've owned it only for the last 30-35k miles and tried to take good care of it for the most part sound dampening installed in trunk and side door panels from a previous owner no stains in the carpet or leather at all original floor carpet mats still perfect condition (all 4 of them) all seat belts work great, no problems no squeaking while turning spark plugs replaced with high end iridium plugs which will last a long time i installed a cold air intake and a bypass valve towards the top so even if you run over water it will not suck it into your engine (that is Why i installed the valve) also the cai can be changed into a short ram if needed the lower section can be removed and filter can be connected in the engine bay. headlights are silverstar ultras (i think that is the highest they offer) fog lights are very bright, never gone out on me, and the switch still works great bright beams are a bluish tint, and very bright, they work amazing. door speakers and tweeters on top of dash have been replaced with polk audio pioneer cd/mp3 player i installed also i installed a ipod connection and dremeled a small hole with the ipod cord coming out right next to the pioneer player (connects directly to bottom of any ipod and shows song names and allows to choose on pioneer player and charges ipod while connected) all 4 tires were purchased about 2 years ago and professional install new front brakes and rotors last year new rear brakes and rotors just this last weekend (higher end parts then shops normally install) i also replaced all the bolts/pins and greased them up very well when installing because old ones were rusted to nothing car runs smoothly, switches gears perfectly - very slight hesitation i think in the lower gears all blinkers/lights work/horn works/sound system works amazing kbb private party value= +- $2,700 what do you guys think it is worth if i could even manage to sell it?

bad smelling fluid leaking from dash today i went to my car (1981 Honda Accord)and there was a puddle on the drivers side floor mat. it is slightly oily, light brown and has an awful sour smell. the windows were open before the leak, so it is possible that someone may have thrown something in my car, but there are stains running down the underside of the dash, so i kind of doubt it.The car seems to still be running fine. for now. (Other info: the car has no air conditioning system, and the oil, brake fluid and clutch fluid levels look fine) Any help would be great!
Dashboard for my 2000 mitsubishi eclipse.? I bought my car in July of last year and I have been looking for a dashboard for it since I got it. When I got the car the dash had pieces missing out of it from when the previous owner took it out and couldn't get it back in and ended up breaking it. I am looking for the entire dash not a mat not a cover. The previous owner also spray painted parts of the dash white so I want that out of there so a cover wouldn't help me. If you know of any places that sell the entire dash please let me know. I have been to junk yards looking for a dash and only found one but the glass was stuck to it that was in Texas and now I am living in Florida and where I live you can't find dashes for eclipses around here.

Where can I buy a large mechanics work mat? My husband works on cars all day. Most of the work is doing wiring under the driver's side dash and he has to contort his body to fit in there. I'd like to find him some kind of flexible padded mat or something to help cushion his upper body while he's working. Does anyone know of a product like that?
Should I not be too concerned about stains if the car is a year 1996? I have a 1996 Honda Accord and basically have trouble keeping it clean all the time. Well I basically eat in it a lot of times and have had spills. I use to just buy new floor mats every week but that got expensive. So I basically just scrub the best I can. I do try to keep the dash board dusted and let Jiffy Lube do the vacuming. Also I have trouble with bird poo all the time as I don't have a garage and live out in the country. On a 1996 should I really even bother with stains and just focus on dust, smell and vacumed carpet?

can exposure to mold be causing my symptoms? My car has been leaking water under the dash for about a month and a half now. My husband just got to fixing it and has discovered black mold under the floor mats and seats. I do not drive the car all that often, to and from work (about 10 min each way) and on my lunch break to run errands. Occasionally I will take a nap in there during my lunch break. My question is.....I am 14 weeks pregnant and have been so sick, nausea and dizziness, loss of appetite, and just generally feeling blah. We have been assuming these were just symptoms of the pregnancy (which I did not have with my first two children) but now I am wondering if it could be from the mold exposure. Anyone know?

What is a matching interior color with a red exterior Civic? I know you might think my car color is ugly, but it is a 1995 Honda Civic in glossy maroon. Almost everything including mats and front and back seats are leather black. And I just don't want all black.. I was thinking about getting the dash kit. But what color? I wanted the same color as the exterior but they don't come with that color. So I was thinking about Brushed Aluminum or.. Carbon Fiber I DUNNO! What do you think? Or better off just keeping it all black..

Interior plastic and carpet problems with a Honda CRV.? I have a 2006 Honda CRV. Since I've owned it I've had numerous problems with the interior plastic and carpet. The dash began fading and turning white right away. Honda replaced it but the new dash had discolorations on it and marked up easily. In other places around the car the plastic started turning white and scratched easily. The driver's floor mat twists and comes unhooked all the time. The carpet under it has begun wearing out after only 23,000 miles. I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems.

Hey, could you guys tell me what you think about this? Rating 1-10 Thanks a lot guys :)? THE SECOND COLOUR WAS GREY. The dusk bitten sky rumbled with sadness, and it’s tears sheeted down onto the dry ground of Earth. Hannah sat in the front seat of her car, bouncing up and down slightly as she turned onto a deserted dirt road. Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata strained through the speakers, and it wasn’t until the song was half way done that her car began to groan. She peered out the rain splattered wind shield to see a thick, grey smoke spilling out from under the hood. “Aw, come on!” She shouted, banging her hands on the steering wheel. Outside the car, there were no cars. There was nothing. Hannah turned off the ignition, which plunged her into silence except for the heavy sound of rainfall, and grabbed her purse from the passenger seat. Leafing through it for a moment, she pulled out her cell phone and pressed two on speed dial. “Come on, come on, come on.” Her legs shook. Her heart dropped when she heard: “Hey, it’s Amanda. I’m not here right now, so please leave a message and I’ll get back to you. Well, truthfully, it depends who you are. If you’re the Landlord or the Tax Collector, there’s a fat chance I’ll return you’re call. So move on, buddy. I'm not paying for ****!” “Damn it.” Hannah pressed END. She combed her fingers through her hair with a sigh. Who else was there to call? Slowly, her eyes fell upon the small square sheet of paper sitting on the dash. “Oh, Hannah, no.” She said sadly, shaking her head. “You wouldn’t…” Glancing at her cell phone, she noticed that the black digital numbers read 7:03. Great, she was already three minutes late. “In this case, you would.” He answered on the first ring, his voice loud. “Hello?” In the background, dishes were clattering and a fast paced song was playing. Without meaning to Hannah wondered where he was, and, sadly, who he was with. Hannah debated on wither or not she should hang up. “It’s Hannah.” She could almost hear his smile, “Change your mind about that date?” “Not exactly.” Seventeen minutes later, Hannah was seated in Jake’s car, the heat full blast. The aroma of tobacco and mint hovered lightly in the thick air. She kneaded her hands together in attempt to warm them. “Here,” Jake said, grabbing her hands and folding them between his. He rubbed against them, and though she wish they didn’t, a swarm of butterflies let loose in her stomach. She pulled her hands back and folded them in her lap, sure that her face was flushing. “Thanks for giving me a ride.” He turned towards her; his hair was matted to his head, and his shirt was dotted with rain water. In the darkness of the car, Jake’s light brown eyes appeared almost black. A small smile flickered across his face, “My pleasure.” Hannah glanced down at her feet and listened as Jake turned the ignition. A moment later, she heard the crunch of the tires against the gravelled road as the pulled out of park. The rain had slowed to a light drizzle when Hannah climbed out of the truck. Her eyes flashed around them. “Where are we?” Trees were everywhere except for one shabby building. It was more deserted than the deserted road they had just turned off of. This was definitely not Mandarin. “Jake, this is not where I asked you to drop me off!” Jake circled the front of his truck to stand before her, his mouth inches from hers. “It’s time for our date.” He murmured, his breath hot on her lips. Her stomach clenched, then unclenched; like a fist, opening and closing. He took a step back and grinned. “Besides, we can’t go home yet.” Hannah placed her hands on her hips; she couldn’t believe him! “And why’s that?” She asked, her words filled with irritation. She needed to get to the dinner party…she could call a cab? Oh, that’s right, she had no money! Jake moved closer again, and wrapped his arms around her waist. Hannah’s breath caught in her throat. “The fun doesn’t start till midnight.” Then he pulled away and strode off towards the building, motioning for her to follow. She stood for a moment, frozen in place, then she realized. “Wait!” She shouted, running after him into the darkness. “Midnight?!” It was official. Her sister was going to kill her.
'92 Buick Regal Issue? My '92 Buick Regal Custom has an issue that is somewhat similar to previous questions. I have a bit more detail than others have had so I am hoping that I get a better response. The motor is a 3.8L. Any answers will help out tremendously. The issue is an intermittent stalling of the engine. The vehicle will run fine for weeks on end then suddenly it will leave me stranded. The pattern seems to be as mostly in town driving, foot off of the accelerator, brake depressed. The car does not shake or shudder, no strange sounds, just silence. Power steering and power brakes are obviously useless. Hazards and dash lights work. Heater blower works. Sometimes the vehicle starts right back up and runs fine. Sometimes it needs to sit for 15-20 minutes. Sometimes it starts but stalls within a time frame of 200 ft or within 5 minutes of restart. I have also had this happen after I have shut the car off. Getting back into the car it may take 20 minutes to start. One thing I have observed a couple times is the cd player will reset to track 1 or turn off completely without being able to be turned on for weeks after-wards, then suddenly it will come on by itself as I am driving down the road. The codes I have had in the past were 17 and 23. 23 is MAT sensor-signal voltage is low or high OR TPS error OR Mixture control solenoid-open or short circuit problems. This code is not currently present. 17 is a hard code, present after reset. It is listed as the following RPM signal problem OR Camshaft sensor- circuit problem OR ECM computer circuit problem- Pull up resistor (Saturn). The camshaft sensor was replaced in Nov. The ECM, I'm not sure how to take that. Does this mean it is only for Saturn or both GM and Satun but only the Saturn with the pull up resistor? Also ALL of the choices seem to me to be very vague. The ECM still has power flowing to it when the car stalls, couldn't all of these thing be attributed to the fact the engine isn't running? I am wondering if a TPS and EGR combination could be causing the stalling. Also this vehicle has been wrecked. There were no problems until then. The gas mileage has decreased tremendously from 28 mpg highway to about 18. I have also noticed that idle is 500 RPM and will fluctuate slightly up and down 100 Rpm. I have read on forums and such of these issues being from TPS to coil packs to ECM. Does anything I have here rule out anything? Thank you in advance for your help.

What would you do, A, B, C? My alpine car stereo broke, so I got another alpine from a friend. This one suddenly decided to stop ejecting, no matter what I reset or what buttons I pressed. I opened up the head unit, unplugged and hooked wires up to the motor, ran the wires behind my dash, and I have two small lightswitches (and two dry-cell batteries under my seat), that control the cd deck's open/close control. I managed to tuck the wires underneath the mat and hide the batteries, but is it really stupid to have two lightswitches next to my seat to control the cd player? If you were in my position, would you: A.) Leave it like it is. B.) Blow a hundred dollars and two frustrating hours installing a new one. C.) Remove the alpine and put the factory piece of crap in there. I only listen to a cd or two every once in a while, so keep that in mind.
Is this story well written? I am 15 and I am working on a story. (This is just a draft of the first part of the story) I was wondering if this story was well written and if you have any critique..I know it's long but I really want some answers! Thanks! :) Chapter 1 Meg trudged slowly down the front stairs and dropped her last bags at her feet that were filled with her belongings. She faced her Aunt Jess that she was going to be living with until she was a legal adult. This event was unfortunately four more years away. Not that Meg didn’t love her Aunt, she did, and it was just her Aunt’s old Victorian mansion that sent chills running down her spine. Every time she visited her Aunt something weird happened. Either it was the phones ringing wildly with no one on the other line, electrical problems, or doors slamming shut with no one around to close them. Meg didn’t know who or what was causing these problems but she didn’t intend on finding out. “Let me take your bags out to the car for you,” Aunt Jess said already reaching down to pick them up. She stood up and shook her dark brown curls out of her large eyes. Just like her mom. She turned to walk out but then came to a halt, “I will pull the van around and you can just come out. Don’t forget to lock the doors.” Meg watched Aunt Jess round the corner to the driveway so she could pull her car around. This was it. She was leaving. Leaving her friends, school, house, and pretty much her whole life. She guessed that it was good for her to be moving to a new town all the way in Murray, Utah. The fewer reminders of her parents the better. It would be so much different from her life in Richmond, Virginia. Meg noticed that Aunt Jess had pulled the car around. She turned around too look at her vacant house that her parents had left behind when they went out to see a concert two weeks ago and never returned. She took a deep breath and, clutching the house key in her hand, she walked out the door into the fresh Virginia air. Meg gently shut the door and locked it. She lifted the welcome mat and hopped out of the way when a beetle dashed out from underneath it. She dropped the key under the mat and walked to her Aunt’s car with her head down, fighting back her tears. As Meg approached the car she opened the silver door and tossed her red Roxy purse onto the soft passenger seat. She climbed in and buckled her seatbelt but before the seatbelt was locked into place Aunt Jess was already on her way out of the neighborhood. It was like she didn’t want Meg to take her last looks at her neighborhood and start bawling her big blue eyes out. Aunt Jess wasn’t very good at handling tears. Meg’s eyes shot toward the window. She preferred to see her town for the last time until she turned eighteen. She planned to move back after she graduated from college. “Well, are you excited to be starting a new life in Murray?” Aunt Jess asked awkwardly asked as she drove them to the airport. They were going to fly out in Kentucky so it would be a couple of hours. Meg shrugged, still looking out the window. She didn’t want to miss seeing on strand of grass. “Sure, if you like trying to meet new friends, a new house, and a new town,” she said a little too sharply. Aunt Jess sighed, “You will really like Murray. It has a great middle school, great people. Plus, your Uncle Taylor is very excited to see you,” Meg saw her Aunt look at her from the corner of her eye. “I’m excited to see him too,” Meg managed a half smile. Meg remembered her Uncle Taylor. He was so bubbly and full of life every time she saw him. He had a bald head, yet, he was only thirty-five. Uncle Taylor loved the outdoors and football. He had taught Meg how to play when she was only eight. With all the practice with her Uncle she was almost as good a player than some of the guys at her old school. Uncle Taylor was a great handyman, but, he didn’t have a job as one. He had retired as a doctor with millions of dollar just two years ago. Man, she loved her Uncle. After five minutes of awkward silence, Meg pulled out her iTouch that she had gotten from all of her friends for her birthday last year. They had all chipped in just a little bit to buy the iPod and stock it up with all of her favorite songs, pictures, and shows. She scrolled through her song collection of David Archuleta and all of her other favorite singers until she found a song she was in the mood to listen to. She stuffed her headphones into her ears and blasted the song “Merry Happy” by Kate Nash. Watching me like you never watch no one Don't tell me that you didn't try and check out my bum Cause I know that you did Cause your friend told me that you liked it Gave me those pearls and I thought they were ugly Though you try to tell me that you never loved me I know that you did 'Cause you said it and you wrote it down Dancing at discos Eating cheese on toast Yeah you make me merry make me very
A short story I have wriiten, opinions and critiques? Now, I do realize, this needs major work. It's my first, and I know it probably sucks bad xD Bu some opinions and tips and such, would be more than helpful(: ----Stumbling over her bedroom rug, Hannah pulls her sweater over her head. She walks over to her dresser and stares at her reflection in the mirror. She hardly recognizes herself. Her matted brown hair, bruised right cheek, scrape on her forehead and puffy eyes, she looks a mess. Struggling to brush through her tangled hair, she ignores the pain. Covering her scrapes and bruises with makeup, her vain attempt of hiding what she knew couldn't be hidden. She took another look in the mirror, her injuries almost unnoticable. No one would notice if she was careful. Opening her bedroom door, she dashes through the hall and into the kitchen, trying not to wake her Father. She remembers though, he left drunk last night. She briefly remembers last night's occurance. She shakes her head, as if she could shake the thoughts right out of her mind. Hannah looks around the kitchen, searching for some pills laying around, hoping to find some painkillers for her aching side. She stops as she notices the bottle of ibuprofen and takes a handfull, swallowing about 9. She didn't realize until after she took them, that maybe she had taken more than what was healthy. At this point, she doesn't much care. She lifts her shirt and sweater to inspect the bruises all along her left side. They were worse than she had assumed. She wondered for a moment that maybe she should have covered this too, with her makeup, but she then realizes that would be a silly thing to even think of. Hannah grabs her bookbag filled with books and walks out her front door. She would go to school, come home and go to bed. Hopefully avoiding as many people as possible in the process. She makes her way to her school, only less than half a mile, she could endure that. Although her side was increasingly becoming more and more unbearable. She ignored it. Walking on the sidewalk, she listens to the passing cars alongside of her. She wonders what it would be like to have a car. She loses herself in a mindless daydream about that for a few minutes, remembering she had somewhere she needed to be. She picked up pace, her side grew more painful by the second. Knowing her luck, she begins thinking, probably broke a rib or two. Oh well, if she could make it through today, she'd be fine. Almost there, now in the school parking lot, she has motivation to keep going. A few minutes and she would be in the safe confines of the library, hopefully napping on the floor, as long as she could go unnoticed. She felt so much safer inside the school, away from all the dangers of the outside world. Or so it sometimes seemed. Now inside, she walks through the crowded yet familiar halls. All these familiar faces, not one noticing her. While walking towards the library, she starts to feel a bit light headed, she shakes it off and walks quicker in the same direction. But she can't seem to shake this feeling, an erie feeling she's about to pass out. The room starts spinning, She struggles to keep her balance and grabs a hold of the closest wall. She spotted the restrooms less than a couple feet away, and stumbles towrds them just in time to fall over next to the empty stall. She gasps as she lands on her bruised left side, and screams in pain. She had never been in so much pain. She raises her hand to her head and feels warm wetness on her scalp. She must have hit her head on something sharp, when she fell. She tries to pull herself back up, but her dizziness hadn't faded and she just lies where she is. Her thoughts begin to drift away from her, she finds herself losing conciousness. There was no use fighting it, it was waste of energy she no longer contained. She closed her eyes for a sleep she would never awaken. --------- As he woke up this morning, Anothony had the uneasy feeling something wasn't quite right. He tried to ignore this ridiculous feeling, but he just couldn't shake it. As he steps out of bed, he grabs a shirt and pulls it over his head sleepily. He walks around his room looking for some pants, when he finds them, he puts them on, fumbling with the zipper. Anthony walks out of his room and searches for some shoes in the hallway, and slips them on, not bothering to tie them untill he gets in his car. He drowzilly starts the engine while yawning and grumbling to himself about how school should start later in the day. As he drives down the familiar road in which he travels every school day, he notices Hannah. She has a pained look on her face and seems as though she's about to cry. He thinks about stopping to see if she would care for a ride, but he doesn't. For his offers in the past had never seemed to interest her before. He had to admit, she was more independant than her looks lead her to be, also very pretty. Although most guys failed to see this, he had noticed her beauty the first day he layed eyes on her. She had long, chesnut brown, wavy hair. Her eyes were the most stunning green he had ever seen, they always sparkled like no other. Her facial features reminded him of an angel, angelic and innocent. She had the fairest skin, like porcelain. She looked like a doll, except for the occasional times she would come to school with a few bruises, you could tell she tried to cover up with a fair amount of makeup. Most never noticed, but Anthony always noticed the tiniest deltails about her. He fancied her from the start. He never really put too much thought into her multiple bruises and other minor injuries, she seemed so fragile, he imagined her bruising at the slightest touch. He never talked to her much, she was so reserved most of the time, and most always kept to herself. He wondered why someone so incredibly wonderful as her, wouldn't be more social. Then again, he was only basing his judgements on her appearance, and also her occasional column in the school newspaper. She always w wrote of the most bitter and depressing things, but the saddest part, was that indeed her articles were nothing but the truth. The sad and bitter truth in everything, whether anyone wanted to realize, much less admit to it, or not. She was so talented, it amazed him. He pulled his car in the parking lot, jerking himself out of his daydream. As he walked to the main entrance, he noticed Hannah stumbling in the direction of the library, he headed after her. Unfortunately the crowd got in the way and he lost track of where she went, he began to worry, she looked rather out of sorts. As he started sprinting towards the library, her normal domain, he stopped in his tracks when he heard a scream come from the restrooms. Panicing, he ran breathlessly to the restrooms, hoping that it wasn't his dear, Hannah. What Anthony saw next, was what he had feared most. Lying on the floor, was a bleeding and unconcious Hannah Dixon. He frantically searched for a pulse on her motionless, body. He strugg He struggled, searching, he couldn't seem to find any sign of life, her body was limp and pale. Her eyes wide open staring striaght to the heavens above. A sob escaped his mouth as tears dripped down his cheek. He pulled her lifeless body onto his lap, crying harder than he could have thought possible. Her beautiful green eyes stared up at him, blank and glassy. Like a true doll, now, he thought. More tears silently worked their way down his face. He lies her back on the ground for a short moment while he picks himself up, then grabs her unmoving body and carries her out of the restroom. The bell for second period had already rang, so he didn't have to worry about stares coming from other classmates as he carried one of their peers' dead corpse through the halls. He was more numb than anything, he couldn't grasp the thought that Hannah Dixon was no longer, but he just kept walking and pondering on why no else had heard her, why none of the teachers had came to see what all the commotion was about. His thought was interrupted by a shriek of one of the guidance counselors, he stood there, tears streaming down his face, looking at her. "She's dead." Was all that could come out before another sob escaped. He wasn't sure how much longer he could go before breaking down. He held her pale, cold corpse for a few more minutes, waiting for the ambulance to arrive. When they came, he saw them lift her shirt up, revealing bruises that looked so incredibly painful he had to look away. His eyes watered again, stiffling another sob, he could have stopped this, this was preventable. He watched, mourning the loss of his love, as they zipped the body bag. ------

YAY - I think I figured it out... There is a MP3 Disk option in iTunes and Nero burner... it is an actual CD Format... I usually burn audio through Windows Media Player and it does not have the option.
Would u put a round piece of carpet on your dashboard? When I saw it, I went WTF. I don't think my car would look nicer with a round piece of carpet on my dashboard. Of course they call it something else, the "Shag Dash Topper" so it would sound more appealing and maybe more consumers will purchase this for their vehicle. Currently it comes as a package (the "Shag Dash Topper" with the floor mats, etc) but my question is: Would you put it on your dashboard? Being sold by Nissan
How to customize my new ride?? ideas!? Hello, I'm a 20 yo fun loving girl. I just purchased my first car on my own. I traded in my first car that my parents had bought for me and I now own a 2008 Dodge Caliber. Woot! It's silver with dark slate interior... I wan't to make this car my own. Something that would be fun to roll up to parties with my girls. I've already decided that I want to install little neon lights under the dash. I can't decide what color though. Suggestions? Any other tips or ideas to make this a girly/chic/fun ride would be so very much appreciated! hmmm... of course i wouldnt do anything to the outside of the vehicle other than replacing the rims. and thats why i want under dash lights, theyre not illegal, not a distraction. basically i should have phrased this as where can i find fun personalized floor mats, steering wheel covers, seat covers, magnets?? Not cheapo ones at walmart. there has to be companies that specialize in that sorta thing.
My first chapter( completed version)? Chapter One: Predetermined Notions Nicholas I was stalking down the cereal produce aisle of some unknown convenience store that my mind had derived from somewhere deep in my subconscious. The place was completely desolate of any living thing, with the exclusive exception of myself. In reality, I suppose the bleakness of the place would have disturbed or even frightened me, but, here and now, I wasn’t perturbed by this nuance whatsoever. The only thing that I felt now was the mad, strange desire that utterly consumed me, the desire that repeatedly told me I had to find it now. Right now. If I couldn’t find it than my trip here had been nothing but an absolute waste of time. But I couldn’t fail. That much I knew was fact. My eyes flickered hopefully among the shelves that contained innumerable amounts of generic cereal boxes. As I walked down the aisle, my hope plummeted further and further with every step my feet took that led to the end. The end of the aisle. The end of all hope. I was penultimately close to it and when my hope tried to submerge more, it found that there was nowhere else to spiral downwards to now that it had hit rock bottom. Which was were I had indisputably found myself at now that I had reached the close. I turned around with the false precedent engraved inside of me that I had simply looked over the biased treasure that I desired so much, only to find empty shelves that had been full to bursting just moments ago. This was pandemonium in it most subtle form which only made it worse than it would have been if all Hell’s demons had been let loose before me. I was filled with dread and foreboding almost immediately. I had been led here under fraudulent pretenses, which could only resolve to one thing: I had stumbled into what conclusively had to be a trap. Then it sprang, as if my mind had strayed upon the single thought that could set it off. And I was devoured whole with inexplicable pain beyond anything of which I had ever felt before. Pain that sneaked into the bowels of my chest and crawled gradually toward my heart that beat fewer upon every fraction of space enclosed between them. With every short breath I took I was positive that it would be my last as the florescent lights above flickered off, leaving me in unquenchable darkness. My knees wobbled and gave way. I braced myself for the collision between bone and the concrete floor beneath only to find myself precariously sinking through the darkness below. My body unwillingly turned over so that I was falling headfirst to whatever lay beyond, writhing from the ceaseless pain in the nothingness that surrounded me. Death could be the only resolution to this, and I would willingly embrace that if in turn I was spared from the state of being I found myself in now. Finally, I had reached the long awaited bottom: The carpeted floor of my room. There was a searing stitch of real pain in my chest as if I had just ran a marathon and to compliment this my hair was matted from the sweat that trickled down my face and into my shirt. My bed sheets lay loosely at my feet alongside my naked pillow; its case was nowhere to be found. I breathed in heavily, regretting the action instantly as the stitch in my chest seethed. Slowly, I rose to my feet that were unusually weak. The digital alarm clock upon the nightstand beside my bed read 7:40 A.M. Perfect. My internal clock had wakened me up five minutes before the blaring rendition of my external one. If all went according to how previous school mornings had gone Mom would be knocking on my door to awake me in place of the alarm clock that seldom failed to in about five minutes. I kicked my pillow and bed sheets away from my feet as I stumbled over to sit down upon the bed I had fallen out of. I set my elbows onto my knees and bent over to cup my face into the sweaty palms of my hands, pondering as time permitted, the reason behind the now subsiding pain embraced within me. Had it been a dream that had caused me to thrash in my bed and inevitably fall out of it? I tried to recall the probable nightmare that had caused me to do so, but my mind formed upon no concrete solution. Only the taste of corn flake cereal Mom always preferred to buy came to me. This was in no way associated with what I was perplexed with now, so I set it aside as my stomach obtrusively informing me of its hunger. I customarily never remembered what my dreams retained for me, so it came to be as no big surprise that my despondent attempt had failed. Even if it had been a dream, that would in no way provide a satisfactory answer as to what had spawned the alien pain manifested inside of me. It was still gradually evaporating and had almost completely abated, which left me wondering if the initial pain had ever been there to begin with. I was no stranger to physical pain, having gotten into numerous fights back in middle school, but that didn’t seem to be the source of the dilemma brewing within. This was not something tangible, nowhere near my range of comprehension. I lifted my head out of my hands and let them freely caress the area of my chest above my steadily thumping heart, which is where the core of the pain had been rooted. I had expected to find some lump there but only found it to be as normal and smooth as it had been the day before. The pain had now ceased to exist. Instead of being overwhelmed with a wave of relief that I had expected to surge throughout me, I was engulfed with remorse and longing for what had illegitimately left me. And at this, I was utterly baffled. A loud, rasping noise verberated upon my room’s door, causing me to jump from shock as I was grudgingly wrenched out of my profound stupor. “Nicholas! Nich—“ called Mom’s voice from the other side of my locked door. “I’m up, I’m up!” I interrupted, the springs of my mattress creaking as I got off it. I was inwardly appreciative of the pieces of mettle embedded in my door that barricaded me in and warded her from seeing the mess on the other side. “Well hurry and get up to take a shower. I want you to eat a good breakfast today as well, gets your mind prepared for the first day of a new semester at school.” I heard the close sound of her footsteps begin and slowly disperse, which announced she had walked away from my room door and hopefully to her own. My eyes darted towards the digital clock that had gone off with the blaring beeping noise that I detested so much; it now read 7:45 A.M. With a heavy, painless sigh, I bent over to pick up the tussled pillow and sheets below. I went downstairs to eat my nourishing breakfast after taking care of the morning’s usual: brushing my teeth, taking a shower, washing my hair, and changing into the clothes that I would wear at school today. The previous events of earlier this morning were no longer plaguing my mind as persistently as before. One of the few things I prided myself on: If a memory were too painful or confusing to bear I would simply blockade it from entering any vestige of my thoughts, which in turn numbed any sense of disquiet wrought by it. I stepped into the vividly decorated kitchen under the impression that I was the only one occupying it. I had walked past one of the white and blue chairs of the table when a slightly vibrating something brushed against my leg. The kitchen wasn’t as vacant as I had thought it was; my mom’s pet cat Sylvester would be spontaneously joining me for breakfast this morning. He purred contently as he pranced over to his food bowl in the corner, his black tail was erect in the air at apparent ease with the world. How lucky for him that life came at such easy strides, I thought to myself as I opened one of the kitchen’s cabinets that contained nothing but breakfasting foods. My eyes scanned over the multiple choices of variety that it offered. Contrary to the lust for the generic corn flakes that I had desired in my room earlier, I felt a peculiar sense of aversion to it now. I chose a box of strawberry Pop-Tarts instead, ignoring the bright yellow box that pleaded me to be opened. After I had ripped open the Pop-Tart’s wrapping and hastily stuffed the pastries into my mouth, I dashed back upstairs to fetch my car keys and nearly empty book bag. I gave my a room a final swift look to ensure myself that I left it in decent order just in case Mom decided to unlock it with the spare key I’d given her and pilfer through it after she came back from work. Everything seemed to look all right, or as close to all right as I had time to allow it to; the clock now read 8:30 A.M. I didn’t live very far away from the school so it usually only took me three minutes at most to get there by car, but the bustling ambush that was sure to ensue from the likewise latecomers trying to cut in line to get their schedule’s first was very likely to delay me a couple of minutes. I wouldn’t put it pass some of the teachers to count me tardy if I was late, regardless of if it was the first day of school or not. So I rushed out of my room, pointlessly locking the door behind me before shutting it. I paced myself at a rate that was almost a run as I headed down the stairs and through the front door. Mom’s burgundy SUV was no longer in the driveway even though I hadn’t heard her leave. She must have left while I was taking a shower, which would definitely explain the relatively undisturbed breakfast I had had. I unlocked the door to my silver Honda Accent and swung myself inside of its stuffy interior. Without bothering to buckle my seatbelt, I jammed the key into its ignition and pulled out of the driveway without taking a glance into the rear view mirror for passing cars. The speedometer dial pointed to 60 as I drove past a speed sign that had 45 MPH written upon it in bold, black script. I only slowed down after taking a difficult turn around a street corner and almost having a head-on collision with a yellow Lamborghini that honked its horn resentfully at me. I let it drive in front and was forced to creep along at a snail’s pace of 25 now that we had passed the flashing orange and yellow lights that indicated the entry of a school zone. The clock above the car’s radio dial read 8:35 A.M. I now only had ten minutes to find a parking space, go to the Gym to get my schedule, and make a nearly fatal attempt at finding a class that could possibly located all the way at the end of the school building. I followed behind the Lamborghini into the school’s almost full parking lot. Pressing my foot hard on the acceleration, I swerved around it and gracefully parked into the free space that I was sure they had had their eyes set on. I yanked my car keys out of their ignition and made a motion to unlock my seatbelt until I remembered that I hadn’t bothered to take the trouble of putting it on in the first place. I stepped out the car and saw the Lamborghini crawling along at a ridiculously slow pace behind my car. As I peered through the slightly tinted window to get a glimpse of who would be driving a vehicle infamous for its top-notch speed at such a distressing manner, my eyes fell upon a singularly raised middle finger that propagated itself from a hand belonging to the horribly familiar face of Tony Brink. Not horrible because of his physical features but because of the memories spawned by them. On the contrary he was anything but unattractive, even that I had to admit. Dangerously blue eyes and blonde hair; beautiful facial features accompanied by an epically sculptured body and set of dazzling teeth. A distantly familiar beast growled inside of me. I chose to ignore the evident provocation of retaliation and stooped back in my car to grab my book bag. After scooping it off the car floor and slinging it over my shoulder, I grabbed the car keys off my seat and shut then locked the door. Turning my back on the mounting hostility prickling behind me, I mechanically walked onward to the entrance of my eight-hour jail cell. The sound of a roaring engine and the squeak of rubber tires upon the gravel announced it was safe to relax a little and hasten my pace a lot. I was still racing and dismally losing against the ticking clock. The fierce blowing winds sent cold ripples of nostalgia down my spine, causing me to shiver. I shoved open one of the black double doors that led into a small area to traverse through before entering the actual school. In front of me was another series of black doors, these though led to the commons area. To my left was a small group of people cramming to get through the entrance that led into the gym. I sighed and set off in that direction, carefully maneuvering around the babbling people of the crowd. Entering the gym, I saw large white signs that read Juniors and Seniors dangling from strings transfixed upon the rafters above. I walked to the table on the right half of the gym under the sign Juniors; the crowd behind me went forward to the open doors that led into the second room, which contained the papers for Freshmen and Sophomores. I sulked my way over to join the small queue of three people impatiently waiting for their schedule. After the first two people had been cleared off, the sound of opening doors echoed throughout the gym, perpetuating the hushed silence. Out of vain curiosity I turned my head to see who had entered only to see a radiant demon walking to the queue of Seniors. Tony. All traces of my previous restraint were now extinct, utterly nonexistent. An undulating wave of old hatred began to cascade inside of me, making my calm exterior falter. Neither Tony nor I could afford to gave my temper be let loose from its internal cage, especially not for something as trivial as him simply being here. I tried my best to dam the flooding waters inside, but traces of it kept slipping through the cracks. I was about to implode, sending forth the burning, turbulent liquids onto my unassuming victim. “Would you please stop lolly-gagging and come over here, sir.” A voice beckoned from a feint distance, pulling me out of my subliminal surreality and back into the issuing present. My head slowly turned back to the old, gray haired lady behind the table that had containers of schedules stacked on top of it. Here stern gaze contorted into something unrecognizable, something that made the pestilent monster harbored inside of me growl hungrily. Contemplating the variety of different ways that I could kill her, I began to saunter towards her without a firm plan of what I was doing engraved in my mind. Then I recognized what was so plainly etched there. Fear. Fear of the boy in front of her that had an implanted look that suggested potential murder was about to supervene. I closed my eyes tightly and concentrated upon the absolute darkness encompassing my sight. I waited until the brewing hatred ebbed away so completely that it was nothing more than a permanent scar upon the echoing past and then hesitantly opened my eyes. The lady was still standing there, all fear now foregone from her face, with her old stern look mixed with anxiety for her own safety. She obviously thought I was crazy. “Oh, decided to come back to Earth now haven’t ya?” Now that the monster was no longer overshadowing my initiate human characteristics, I heard she had a poorly disguised Irish accent. Her face wasn’t familiar whatsoever to the small portion of my brain that contained the faces of people I’d passed in the hallway. A new teacher. She’d be ripped to shreds by second period. “The place is already empty,” she continued on. I looked around to see that this was an undeniable fact; I must have been out of it longer then I thought. The only person that remained was the other teacher at the Senior table whom was flipping through the papers for the few that had failed to turn up. Part of me was infuriated that Tony hadn’t stayed longer; I had been denied a savory snack. “Well, I suppose you’ll be wanting your schedule, eh?” She said recollecting the disseminated pieces of my attention to become focused upon her once again. “Name?” “Nicholas. Nicholas James,” I recited slowly. She pulled a container labeled J-N from the middle of the stack. Her fumbling hands opened the blue lids to reveal a solitary packet within. “Here ya go,” she said taking it out and handing it to me. “Thank you.” My eyes darted toward the silver watch wrapped around her outstretched wrist. The big hand was pointed in between a Roman numeral nine; the small hand directly on the nine. 8:45 A.M. Damn. “Are-are teachers still counting tardies today, it being the first day of school and everything?” I asked, fearful of her answer. It could contain the very destruction of my perfect attendance record for the year before it had even been given the time to flourish. A smirk played across her face. “No, sadly not. They’re being rather lenient this week, so nothing of that sort is being accounted for. Why would you care anyways,” she snorted, “coming to school this late?” I let my sarcastic retort die upon the tip of my tongue as I had been doing for the previous two years of attending this school, two years of perfect attendance and a referral free record that would hopefully be succeeded by a third. I turned my back to and set off, without a word, back to the doors that served as the gym’s entrance and exit. “Don’t you forget to put your I.D on!” she called behind me, her voice strangely ruminating in the dissonance of the gym I shoved upon the metal handle of the door, eager to escape to the back of my first period class. Heeding her unneeded advice, I opened the flap of the plastic covering containing my I.D clipped onto a green lanyard and a single yellow sheet of paper. I glanced at one side of it to see the familiar overview map of the school, and on the other side found what I had been languishing away to behold. 1ST Period Wind Symphony Band 2nd Period AP English III 3rd Period AP Pre-Calculus 4th Period AP Music Theory II Lunch B 5th Period French III 6th Period AP Physics 7th Period AP European History Relief replaced anxiety. I had been given all the classes I’d signed up for last year. Fear took a grappling hold of relief. I had been on the brink of losing my rational control; the monster inside had been only mere seconds from taking over. I’d only lost control because of Tony only once before, during the final weeks of school last semester. I had heard from the gossipers mongering in the hallway that he was determined to beat up my close friend Jared after school for not allowing him to copy off of his Chemistry Final Exam. Petty gossip that ordinarily would have fallen upon my ignorant, deaf ears had the victim been a different target. I didn’t need to ask where this horrific scene would take place. Tony would choose the most crowded part of the school where no teachers were on duty at: The commons area. I rushed down the stairs from my locker and allowed myself to be carried by the tempestuous crowd toward the already ensuing fight. Blow by blow Tony placed on Jared’s bloody, maimed face. He tried to defend himself but his awkward, thin arms were no competition against the muscular, bulky ones of his pursuer. I stood among the jostling crowd, staring helplessly as my friend writhed in pain on the cold, blood-splattered floor. I knew that there was absolutely nothing I could do to save him from his grievous pain and humiliation, save suffer at his side, which left me at the despairing impasse of being a powerless spectator. Hate had burned inside of me. Not quite as strong as it had been today, but still, it had been strong enough. I wanted to inflict pain on Tony. Pain ten-times surmount to anything he was putting my friend through. To suffer and to suffer at my hands, only than could I be fully sedated. My dream became reality. Tony, who had been about to kick Jared while he lay agonizing on the floor, abruptly fell where he stood. At the time I couldn’t see what he was doing down there, but screams and yells issued from the front of the crowd as people hurried forward to him. I, however, ran to Jared who the crowd had simply stepped over, but through the minute cracks in between people I glimpsed the figure of Tony twitching like made on the floor. I didn’t think much of it at the time, my only concern was for Jared. In the end, Jared and Tony had to go to the hospital for a few days, and no one had been stupid enough to blab on the latter. I suppose they found that his haphazard seizure had been torture enough. Also, even if they did report him anonymously, word would soon get out it had been them who told and they would soon find themselves cornered in an empty hallway by a congregation of Tony’s friends. Two of the many harsh realities of high school: People are completely conceited and that nothing was ever kept a secret for long. This scene had carried more emotional baggage then I thought it would. I couldn’t help but think my thoughts had been what spawned Tony’s abrupt seizure. Of course I knew that just thoughts alone could not spur such an action, but I felt filthy and contaminated all the same. A feeling that was proportionately magnified a week later when Tony returned to school and brushed past me in the hallway. I was at once consumed with a famished hunger that could only be fed by seeing Tony tortured by me and no other. I had expected to hate him for what he had done to Jared, but the longing to see him go through explicit pain, I hadn’t. This feeling returned every time he came in close proximity of me, but I found that through determined perseverance that it could be stifled. A little. The brief spell of two months from Tony had undoubtedly weakened my built up endurance. A short beep came from above me as the intercom turned on, interrupting the overflow of reminiscent thought. I trudged on to my first period class, band, still lost in a reverie. The stagnate taste of corn flakes materialized in my mouth. The taste of change. I'm only fourteen years old :)
