Which sort of TFT monitor would give a clearer reading of Text, Matte or Glossy?
And is glossy irratating when trying to do some work due to reflection of light of yourself? Monitors have anti glare feature, what does that mean? also, is that same as a screen filter used for CRT? Thanks

- Matte (antireflection coating) is preferable, but the best thing to do is to prevent light from hitting the monitor and reflecting into your eyes to begin with. An antireflection coating is a molecular coating that attenuates reflection of a wide range of light frequencies. Light hits the screen but doesn't bounce off, which greatly reduces glare.
