MATTING MY PHOTOS - Any recommendations on how to start?
I have some of my photos (5 x 7) that I wish to sell at various art fairs and would like to mat them myself to make them look nice. I've done this once before using cardboard for the back and cheap white matting for the front. However, I would like something that looks more professional but won't cost me a fortune. Any tips on how to get my photos ready for sale?

- You can buy pre-made matts in 5x7 size at most craft stores. You can also pay a professional to matt the prints for you.
- You can try cutting the mat yourself. Logan sells different models covering all price ranges. I use the Framer's Edge from them. Practice on discarded mat board. Joseph Nowak http://www.flickr.com/photos/joe_nowak/
