- I use a cleaner called Purple Power on mine, spray it on, or if the stain is bad, pour a little on, then use a good stiff brush and scrub it really good. Rinse it good, sit out in the sun let it dry. It has no bleach in it , it just goes straight for the grease or oil.
- SPOT SHOT (sold at Office Depot) will remove all stains.
- TRY GOJO OR A GENERIC HAND CLEANER FROM THE AUTO PARTS STORE - IT WILL CUT THE GREASE & THEN WASH THEM W/ SOAPY H2O
- Go to the local auto parts store and buy a couple of cans of cheap engine degreaser, spray the entire set of floor mats, scrub with a soft scrub brush, then rinse thoroughly with water hose. Then to make sure you get all the degreaser out, repeat the process only this time use a mixture of Oxi-Clean and hot hot water. This should take care of it for you. GOOD LUCK!!!
- just saw this on t.v the other day...use shaving cream, white, let sit for 15 min. wipe away. if stubborn use a toothbrush. GL
- dawn dish soap works great! also scrubbing bubbles for your bathtub works good to! and i am a firm believer in Resolve carpet cleaner.
- You may not believe this but the best stain killer I have found is WD-40. I had an employee track car oil into a customer's house that had white carpet. We used WD-40 and it cleaned it so that you couldn't even tell where the stains were. Just a thought.
- getit detailed....you will have to spend too much money buying the tools required to do a professional job.but the rugs have to be buffed.
