What is the best way to mat and frame fine art photography for an exhibit?
Most of the photos will be of various sizes, but all need a consistant look for a gallery exhibit.

- A museum mat format is typically a window mat cut 3 inches wide at the top and sides and 4 inches along the bottom. Keep all the prints uniform. I usually use black mats for all of my prints. If they're back and whites, choose either white or black mat, depending on which is not going to drown out your print.
- I actually published an article about this a while ago. Check it out, it may help. While it is somewhat general, it may still prove useful.
